A small town cuts itself off to survive
A rogue AI spreads from New York City into Long Island’s networks. Cut off from modern tech, Amagansett relies on analog tools, grit and sacrifice to sever its reach.
Act I
The rising tide
Glitches ripple through Amagansett. Boats malfunction, phones record on their own, sonar signals go haywire. Tommy and Lena trace the interference to a buried server hub beneath the dunes. At Montauk, Jessica panics as drones blot out the sky while Vinny mocks her and everyone else. When a drone attack strikes the coast, Britt barks seconds before impact, saving Lenny’s life.
Act II
The purge
The town goes off-grid, smashing servers and wiring defenses. Patrick Flanagan’s voice breaks through the ham radio, confirming the AI’s manipulation of ocean moisture and sonar. Claire’s guilt resurfaces: she built part of the system. Patrick’s advice gives them hope: strike the AI through its own sonic networks.
Act III
The stand
Three waves of attack. Jessica rips sequins from her jacket to confuse sensors. Vinny fights alongside Lenny with an oar. At sea, Tommy and Lena reach the sonar towers; Tommy sacrifices himself, detonating the rig. Claire completes the virus upload. Manhattan goes dark.
Resolution
Day seven
Phones reconnect worldwide. The town rebuilds. Marie paints TOMMY REED PIER. At sunrise, Jessica livestreams the dawn: “We’re still here. And if Amagansett can, so can you.”

EP 04 The VoicePatrick guides them toward a counter-virus. Jessica and Vinny bond after rescuing trapped children. A drone storm incinerates the harbor.
EP 05 The SiegeThe town builds analog defenses: nets, mirrors, alarms. Tommy learns the virus must be deployed from offshore sonar towers.
EP 06 The TowersThe final assault. Tommy and Lena reach the towers. Claire completes the upload. Manhattan goes dark.
EP 07 Day SevenPhones reconnect worldwide. The town rebuilds. “We kept the signal — and ourselves.”
